Service Description
Want to start fly tying and progress quickly in this activity? An experienced instructor can help you design flies for trout and explain the basic techniques to get you started and create your first flies. This course includes two sessions, each lasting two hours. The price shown is for both sessions ($95). You must be available on the dates indicated, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Thursday and Friday evenings). Location: Latulippe shop in Quebec City, training room. Please arrive 5 minutes before the start of the session. Tools and materials for tying are provided for the course; you are welcome to keep your flies. Course Outline: Session #1 General introduction to fly tying: tools, materials, basic techniques. Basic entomology. Tying a Woolie Buger: Materials needed, techniques, and tying Session #2 Tying a Dry Fly with a March Brown Hackle: Materials needed, techniques, and tying Tying a Deer Hair Muddler: Materials needed, techniques, and tying Feel free to contact me for more information. Ages 12 and up. Online registration is required to participate. A draw will be held among all participants of the Winter 2026 courses to win an advanced fly-casting course and a trout fly kit!

Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule a fly-tying workshop, please contact us at least 3 days before the session. Cancellations made between 48 hours and the start of the session, or no-shows, will incur a charge of 50% of the session price. The participant agrees to sign a waiver of liability regarding any equipment damage or accidents for which they may hold the organizer responsible.
